UCC Uripok registered their third win, beating Napsa Kha Imphal by 3 wickets through VJD Method in the 6th MNCA Plate Tournament 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Luwangsangbam Imphal East.

Napsa Kha Imphal, after electing to bat first, made a low score of 98 runs for 10 wickets from 29.2 overs with middle order batsman Premananda Singh top scoring with 19 runs. UCC bowlers Th Yoihenba picked up 3 wickets while Arnold, Roshan Das got 2 wickets each, Gulson, Cherry and Shyam Kumar Ray took 1 wickets each.

Chasing the target, UCC middle order batsman K Gulson Singh rose to the occasion as he got 42 runs after the failure of the top order batsman. Durgesh Sharma got 13 runs to reach the target in 29 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Napsa bowler Rocky Yumnam bagged 4 wickets while Boney got 2 wickets and Ajit Singh fetched 1 wicket.

UCC batsman K Gulson Singh was adjudged the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 42 runs and 1 wicket.
