Organised under the theme “Identity for Peace and Integrity”, the Inter Anal Village Level tournament saw the participation of over 40 teams in three categories, viz. Men, Women and Veterans.

In the first Men’s match, Chandel Christian Youth Club (CCYC) defeated Chandel Khullel by 3-0 sets in a best of five match with the score cards reading 25-16, 25-20 and 26-24. In the Men’s Veteran match, Lamphoupasna also defeated Phiran Khullen by 3 sets to none in a best of five with the scores reading 27-25, 25-23 and 25-15.

In the Women’s category, Cheengkhu defeated Chandel Khullel by 3-2 sets with the scorecard reading 27-25, 21-25, 18-25, 25-17 and 15-11. In another match, Hnahringkhu defeated Lambung-C by 3 sets to none with the scores reading 25-7, 25-8 and 25-17. The women’s match also saw Phungchung beat Modi by 3-0 sets with the score card reading 25-4, 25-13 and 25-15.

The opening ceremony was blessed by Rev. Sng Nelson, Pastor, Lambung Baptist Church, while the invocation for the programme was done by Dy Thawar, Asst Pastor, Lambung Baptist Church while Sng Ningam, president of LYCC welcomed the gathering. Dy Alam, Chief of Lambung Village gave a short note on the tournament while St. Ngamniwar sang the Phantu Anthem.
