AKSDO Khangabok plundered the feeble bowling of YPHUC Lalambung to hoist 309 runs win in the 1st MNCA Women's U-15 Tournament 2023-24 played at PCC Ground, Mayaikoibi.
Batting first, AKSDO batsman enjoyed a plumb total of 332 runs for 6 wickets from 30 overs with Rabina Khundrakpam making 81 runs off 60 balls, which later fetched her ‘Player of the Match’ title. Alish Th contributed 57 runs, while Creety Moirangthem got 46 runs.
YPHUC bowlers Lanchenbi Mutum, Joyshree, Tulika, Suchitra and Terina Devi claimed 1 wicket each. Replying to AKSDO innings, the YPHUC were never really in the chase as they were bundled out for 23 runs for 10 wickets from 8.1 overs.
AKSDO bowler Bijiya bagged 3 wickets, while Rabina Kh took 2 wickets and Alish, Linthoi Chanu picked up 1 wicket each. THAU Thangmeiband will play against MPA Thounaojam in Wednesday's match.
