Sagolband United drubbed DM Rao Sekmai by 8-0 goals in the 14th Manipur State League 2021-22 played at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

The goal floodgates opened for Sagolband United in the 32nd minute of play when Basanta Moirang scored the opening goal. Later, Ch Anandakumar struck thrice for his hat trick while Paokhongam, Thanglengam and Christopher fetched a goal each for the victory. DM Rao player T Romeo got a yellow card in the match.

In the other matches, GSC Churachandpur beat TRAU FC, Kwakeithel by 3-2 goals. Manjoel struck twice while Thanglalrem fetched one goal for GSC team. As for TRAU FC, Th Nani and Napoleon scored the goal.

SSU Singjamei and YUFC Ukhrul held on to a 1-1 goals draw to share a point each. L Roshan Singh fetched the opening goal for SSU team while Ayat Chiphang fetched the equaliser for YUFC team.
