Poetry book 'Endless I will be' released

An English poetry book titled "Endless I will be", written by Sonia Oinam, was released at the Manipur Press Club on Saturday.

President of Manipur Sahitya Parishad Longjam Joychandra, Retired IAS K Radhakumar and Senior Journalist Pradip Phanjoubam among others were present at the release function.

Speaking on the occasion, the writer, Sonia Oinam, highlighted that the book was her first poetry book with a collection of poems that she had written over the last 30 years.

"I have always wanted to be writer ever since I was in school. The book is a culmination of my literary desire and passion," she said.

She also maintained that she would continue to write and wished the book would inspire other writers, especially women, to express their ideas more openly.

Meanwhile, senior journalist and reviewer of the book, Pradip Phanjoubam stated that the book encompassed and portrayed the human obsession with immortality and cycle of life.

He maintained that human interest in things unknown often resulted in the most beautiful and meaningful engagement.

As such he exuded confidence that the book spark the same ideological intrigue and interest in its readers.
