Yoga certificates distribution

Yoga certificates were distributed to 45 participants at a function in Imphal

With the completion of the three-month diploma course undertaken by the TYSC Yoga Centre as a part of the International Yoga Day, certificates were distributed to the participants during a function held at Lamsang in Imphal West on Friday.

As many as 45 individuals took part in the yoga course which was kicked-off on June 21 (International Yoga Day) with the ideology of making a society physically and mentally healthy. They were trained by Guru Mayanglambam Indubala.

Speaking on the occassion, treasurer of the yoga centre, Wangjam Somenjit emphasised that yoga can keep the mind peaceful and body healthy.  

Only a balanced mind can bring the real concept of humanity through peace and harmony, he added.

Regular practice of yoga helps in relieving stress, improves concentration power and prevents various diseases, he said, adding that it also tightened the bond between nature and humans.

The function was also attended by Lamsang MLA S Rajen among others.
