Kuki gospel album Kakulpi Det, which means "My Strong Fortress", was released at J Songtun village in Kangpokpi district.
The Gospel album is the second step of promising gospel singers Neijavah Kipgen and Ngahneihat Kipgen of J Songtun village.
Their first gospel album "Chungmangpan neisaovo" was released by local MLA Nemcha Kipgen on December 23 of 2021.
Chief Executive Officer of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi, James Doujapao Haokip, MCS, released the duo's second step "Kakulpi Det" at J.Songtun village on Sunday.
Stressing the importance of music in society, James Doujapao Haokip said that music has a very important role in human life because everyone likes to listen to music and the person who listens to music knows the importance of music in real-life and such person is always happy in his life, and remains stress-free in every problem.
The officer wholeheartedly appreciated Neijavah Kipgen and Ngahneihat Kipgen for their marvellous voice and talent. He also appreciated the producer of the Gospel music album.
