Short film ‘Use Me’ wins International Pullari TV Awards

‘Use Me (Eibu Sijinabiyu)’ also triumphed at the 5th Roshani International Film Festival 2024, earning the title of Best Short Film Director and secured a spot among the top five films.

Rakesh Naorem has been selected for the Best Director in Manipur award at the International Pullari TV Awards 2024 of International Film Festival for his short film ‘Use Me (Eibu Sijinnabiyu).’

The announcement was made by chairman of the Film Festival Pramod Payyanur during a press conference held on Friday at Kesari Hall in Thiruvananthapuram.

The awards will be presented on December 1, said the Festival Committee.

Notably, ‘Use Me (Eibu Sijinabiyu)’ also triumphed at the 5th Roshani International Film Festival 2024, earning the title of Best Short Film Director and secured a spot among the top five films.

The film is produced by Rakesh Naorem, with a story by Huidrom Suresh and Rakesh Naorem, and edited by Romi Lamabam.

Rakesh Naorem, Bijayalakshmi, Huidrom Marlin, and Moirangthem Oken, were featured in the film with cinematography by Nagindra.

The short film delivers a vital message about the importance of maintaining clean water and avoiding littering in rivers and along roadsides, encouraging viewers to use dustbins to protect the environment.
