Manipur State Film and Television Institute (MSFTI) will organise a 10-day Film Producing Workshop from September 29 till October 8 at MSFTI Classroom Theatre, Palace Gate, Imphal.

MSFTI Director, Alexander Leo Pou, in a press release on Monday stated that the activity is organised considering film producing as the most important aspect in the promotion of film education and production.

It invited interested persons to apply with a concept note/synopsis of a proposal/project for fiction/non-fiction (feature/short/documentary film) and a short profile of the applicant on or before Saturday. For further details, the public can contact the office of MSFTI during office hours, it added.

It further mentioned that MSFTI is an institute under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur. It maintained that the institute has been initiating to organise/conduct a number of short-term training/workshops/labs etc to impart basic as well as profound knowledge and concept on various aspects of filmmaking to the youths of the state.
