The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India is inviting entries for selection of the upcoming 70th National Film Awards 2022 for the Feature and Non-Feature and Best Writing on Cinema categories.
MSFDS, in a release on Thursday informed the same and appealed to all film producers, film critics, and writers who have produced films and related works eligible as entries for the prestigious national film awards to participate in the selection.
It notified that all films and works should be certified from January 1, 2022 to January 31 (both days inclusive) by CBFC and they must have English subtitles. It mentioned that application forms have to be submitted online and added that the stamped and signed hard copy of the online application must be printed and sent along with the requisite material to the National Film Awards Cell, Siri Fort Auditorium Complex, Delhi - 110049.
It further informed that the last date for submission of the applications is till 5 pm of January 30, 2024, while the last date for receipt of the hard copy of the submitted application form along with the requisite material is on February 6. Applicants can visit www.mib.gov.in for detailed regulations and entry form, it stated.
