Meghalaya Minister Alexander Laloo Hek of BJP has been conferred with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award at a glittering ceremony in Dubai.

The award was handed over to AL Hek at a glittering event, attended by UAE’s prominent citizens, held at the Bristol Hotel in the desert city. 

When contacted, Hek said, “The Dadasaheb Phalke Icon award is an honour that leaves me touched and strengthens my resolve to work even harder for the benefit of my state and country.”
