The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has strongly condemned the assault carried out by NSCN-U on the outfit, killing two members of the front.
The outfit in a statement conveyed its deepest condolences and shares moments of deep grief with the family members, relatives, and people concerned at the demise of the precious souls.
“Their sacrifices are supreme contributions for the motherland and their absence have caused a huge vacuum in the comradeship of the fellow patriots”, it said.
It further said that ZUF also conveys its heartfelt gratitude and appreciations to all the leaders of respective civil organisations; Khoupum Area Village Authority Council (KAVAC), ZSUM, RNYOM, RSOM, ZSUKA, All Inpui Students Union, Leisok Part 1 and 2 Women Society and Youths, Khoupum Area Youth Volunteers and all the names and organisations that the front may have failed to mention.
