The Zeme Students' Organisation, Manipur congratulated L Etalakpe of Zenamei village, Senapati on being awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the department of Political Science and Human Rights from Indira Gandhi National Tribal University.
"His thesis, entitled "The Role of National League for Democracy in Myanmar Politics," was completed under the supervision of professor N Surjiykumar, head of Department of Political Science and Human Rights, Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Sohiamlung Dangmei, co-supervisor and assistant professor, Department of Police Science and Human Rights, IGNTU-RCM," Siatuilang Newme, general secretary Zeme Students' Organisation Manipur stated in a release.
He has published articles in UGC-referred journals, the CREEP International Journal, Impel Overseas Education, the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), ICSSR-Delhi, and ICSSR-NERC Shillong. He has also contributed articles to book publications on India's Foreign Policy (IFP), particularly focusing on Southeast Asia. Additionally he has attended international, national and inter college seminars, it stated.
It further stated that the Zeme community takes pride in his achievement and wished him more success in his future endeavours.
