MLA Heirok assembly constituency Thokchom Radheshyam attended the event as chief guest while principal YK College Soibam Giri attended as president and Soibam Babu, former principal Tongbram Babulal, retired professor of Thoubal college and Yangambam Ibemhal, family member of the founder of the college attended as guest of honours respectively.

In his speech, the chief guest MLA Thokchom Radheshyam highlighted the New Education Policy 2020. Principal Soibam Giri narrated the developments taken up by the college so far during the 50 years of its establishment. Other dignitaries recalled how the college was established. 

As a part of the event, the chief guest released an 86-page college souvenir. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed to the teachers of the college. Floral tributes were paid to the founder and other deceased pioneers of the college.
