A release stated that the demise of Kanpatliu Kamei, wife of Roshan Balang, who died due to lack of immediate medical attention, was a tragic incident. The authority concerned should not only focus on COVID-19 patients but should also be responsible enough for every patient so that the kind of unfortunate event does not happen in the future, it added.

“Delivery of a baby is the most challenging period for a pregnant mother and not getting medical treatment despite repeated requests to the doctors of the hospital is an irresponsible and inhumane act,” stated WWO in the release.
