Workshop cum production of “Thanghairol” organised by Huiyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association (HLMTTCA), Irilbung Imphal East under the sponsorship of Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi was inaugurated on Sunday at its complex. The workshop, aiming to produce one of the steps of Thangta, “Thanghairol”, was attended by around 25 artists. In the inaugural session, director, HLMTTCA, K Sanathoiba Sharma attended as chief guest of the function. Two artists from Uttar Pradesh, Ajitesh Sharma and Chattisgarh, Shaurav Dewangan also attended. These two artists are also campaigners of “Burn Calorie not Fuel” travelling all 28 states of India by foot.
