A 25-year-old woman was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling of her residence at Oinam Mamang Leikai under Nambol police station in Bishnupur district around 9.15 am Sunday.
According to police, the victim has been identified as one Naorem Ongbi Naobi, 25, wife of N Angousana from Oinam Mamang Leikai.

“As soon as the family members discovered the incident, she was rushed to the Nambol Community Health Centre (CHC) but she could not make it,” as per police.
The Nambol police filed a case regarding the incident, and the body was handed over to the bereaved family members after the post-mortem was conducted at RIMS, it added.
