As part of the week-long celebration of 70th Wildlife Week 2024 from October 1-7, Chandel Forest Division under the supervision of DFO Chandel Abhijit KV IFS, organised a Cycle Rally on Saturday which started from Pallel and ended at the office of the Beat Officer, Komlathabi, Chandel Forest Division.

The cycle rally, which was organised under the theme ‘Wildlife Conservation through Co-existence’, aimed at raising awareness about wildlife conservation and promoting eco-friendly practices, brought together around 50 cyclists representing various institutions, youth clubs and schools in support of preserving the country’s natural heritage.

Range Forest Officer K. Pawankumar Sharma along with his team and staff from Chandel Forest Division took part in today’s event.
