A special Gram Sabha of Wangjing Gram Panchayat was conducted on Tuesday at Panchayat Ghar of the Gram Panchayat (GP). 

Pradhan of Wangjing GP, Tekcham (O) Surmilla; GRS concerned, Okram Raju; panchayat secretary, Damayenti; former Pradhan of the GP, T Joykumar; and local elders attended the event as presidium members. 

The sabha discussed the labour budget, people's plan campaign for Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) for the financial year 2021-22 and Mission Antyodaya Baseline Survey 2020. 

Surmilla expressed that maximum participation of the public in the gram sabha is much needed. She also appealed to the ward members of the GP to cooperate with the pradhan in implementing a development programme within the GP.
