Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba (WAMA), Kangleipak organised a “Sajibu Khudol Tamba'' event with the aim to strengthen the bond of brotherhood and togetherness between different communities residing in the state.

The event was held at the residence of one Khoirom Orjit Meetei at Takyel Khongban on Sunday.

WAMA, in a release, said that cases of violence against women can be solved to some extent when this kind of event is being organised.

WAMA president Moirangthem Naokhomba Meetei, vice presidents Shadokpam Tomba Mangang and Waikhom Gojen Meetei, general secretary Paonam Thakaba Meetei, and other WAMA members attended the event, said the release.
