Wakhallon Mannaba Apunba (WAMA) Kangleipak and Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillon Apunba Lup (Meelal) Kangleipak have condoled the demise of RV Mingthing, ex-minister of Chingai constituency.
RV Mingthing, son of late R Sammao Pokham passed away on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday. He served as minister from 1985 till 1989.

In a release, WAMA said that members of WAMA and MEELAL led by WAMA president M Naokhomba and MEELAL president Kh Ingocha observed a two-minute silence in honour and memory of the deceased at the WAMA office in Tera.
The release also remembered the contribution made by the late minister for the state.
