CARD and IRCS Thoubal branch jointly organised a voluntary blood donation camp in connection with the 2nd death anniversary of late W Ibohal, former District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan at JNIMS on Wednesday.
Late W Ibohal, who died on June 21, 2021, was also the first National Youth Awardee in the entire North Eastern states. He served as the vice chairman of IRCS Thoubal district branch. Moreover, he was the founder Secretary of the CARD Thoubal, working tirelessly for the welfare and development of the youths during his lifetime.
It may be mentioned that CARD Thoubal is organising a voluntary blood donation camp as a mark of showing gratitude to the departed soul of late W. Ibohal and in remembering the initiatives taken up by him for the welfare of the society and for the youths on June 21 every year. 30 people donated blood during the donation camp.
