The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) on Wednesday announced that Moirangthem Munan, who was selected as a central committee member in the 9th general assembly of UNLF, has been appointed as secretary of finance.
Matters regarding UNLF’s department of finance and documents bearing the signature of secretary of finance M Munan, concerning the said department will be considered as official from now onwards, UNLF stated in a release issued by deputy secretary of publicity M Sak-hen.
It stated that according to the 9th general assembly that was held recently, the colour of the star emblazoned on the emblem/logo of the organisation shall carry the same silver colour as displayed on the flag of the organisation.
Further, documents bearing letterheads with silver stars will now be used for seeking financial aid when in need for the self-determination movement, UNLF stated. The former letterhead shall no longer be used, it added.
