Union Home Minister Amit Shah exudes confidence in Biren, says praying for Manipur's progress and prosperity

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday congratulated N Biren Singh on being sworn in chief minister of Manipur for the second straight term and expressed hope that he will continue to serve the people of Manipur with renewed energy and devotion. He also said that he is praying for the state’s progress and prosperity.

"Congratulations to @NBirenSingh Ji and his colleagues who took oath today. I am confident that his team under the guidance of PM@narendramodi Ji will continue to serve the people of Manipur with renewed energy and devotion. Praying for state’s progress and prosperity," Amit Shah said in a Twitter post.

Replying to the tweet by Amit Shah, who is also Minister of Cooperation, Biren expressed immense gratitude to the Home minister and said that he along with his team will give the best to serve the people of Manipur.

"Immensely thankful to Hon’ HM Shri @AmitShah  Ji for your kind words as I took oath as Chief Minister today. Guided by PM@narendramodi Ji’s mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas, I along with my team will give our best to serve the people of Manipur," Biren tweeted.

Biren took the oath on Monday to continue serving the state as chief minister of Manipur for the second term. The oath-taking was administered by Governor La Ganesan at Raj Bhawan, Imphal.
