An unidentified body of a male was found on the road along NH-37 (Imphal-Jiribam) near milestone 177 between Oinamlong and Nungkao village about 58 kilometers southwest of Tousem police station on Saturday.
A press note issued by officer-in-charge of Tousem police station, Manatha Kamei stated that the deceased is about 5 feet 5 inches tall, thin frame, long face, and a fair complexion. However, there were no identification marks. The body was found wearing a blue striped shirt with black half pant.
The body was retrieved by a team of Tousem police station and has been deposited at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Science (JINMS) morgue for identification. The Tousem police station has registered an FIR in this connection.
