The Baptist Youth Fellowship of the Unapal Baptist Church under the Aimol Baptist Association ( ABA) located at Unapal village in Tengnuopal district of Manipur celebrated its Golden Jubilee on Sunday,
The event was organised at at Unapal Baptist Church under the theme, "Let all that you do be done in Love". Rev Raimi Rimai, youth secretary, UBC was the speaker.
As a part of the event, Rev Semi Serto, executive secretary, ABA, released a souvenir and unveiled the jubilee stone.
CP Lungneilal, chairman, Golden Jubilee Committee, stated that Unapal Baptist Church members were once non-Christians. Later, Christianity arrived at Unapal in 1969. The Baptist Youth Fellowship has been serving the church since 1973. Several works have been conducted since its inception till today, he added.
The event was attended by several religious leaders,village chiefs,village authority members, local villagers and others. Gifts were presented to the members of ABA, women from Unapal who married to other different villages and other eminent persons.
