The body of the individual found near Hongvah Stream in Langdang road, NH-202 in Ukhrul under the jurisdiction of Ukhrul Police Station has been identified.

The deceased is identified as 42-year-old PS Thanmi, son of (L) PS Luingam from Hungpung Kazipphung Village under Ukhrul PS.
The body has been handed over to the family members after conducting a post mortem at District Hospital Ukhrul on Wednesday.

It may be mentioned that PS Thanmi was shot dead by some unknown miscreants near Hongvah Stream on Tuesday at around 5.30 pm.
