The 24th raising day of Universal Friendship Organisation (UFO), Western Head Quarter No 2 was celebrated on Thursday at Sorok Atingbi, Khunou, Jiribam with the attendance of vice chairman of Manipur Food Industries Corporation Limited K Saratkumar Singh as the chief guest.
The occasion was attended by chairman of UFO S Jadhop Singh; vice chairman of Manipur Food Industries Corporation Limited K Saratkumar Singh, pradhan Hilghat GP Jiribam Gi L Somorendro Singh and Yumnam Zhaljit Meitei of Land Donor Head Quarter No 2 as functional president, chief guest and guests of honour respectively.
S Jadhop Singh said that UFO should lead the way towards unity and leadership. He lauded L Somorendro and K Sharat for their willingness to support UFO in the future.
Sarat said that the movement of Satjal was strong at one time but now it has reached a certain point. He further expressed his willingness to extend support to the development of the organisation. He also expressed concern regarding the visible decline of the Satjal movement.
