The event was attended by DM University vice chancellor professor N Rajmuhon as chief guest, retired professor associate professor Dr L Ibungohal as president, and state deputy director Youth Affairs and Sports Y Bony and managing director Sur Hospital Khangabok L Somenkumar as guests of honour.

As a part of the event, six achievers and individuals who have excelled in different professions and fields were felicitated by UDA as a part of the occasion.  

The six persons are Gold medallist Gamma World Champion Laishram Surbala devi; Gold medallist Asian Fencing Championship Shaikhom Nelcyrose Devi; Mr India (Junior) 2022 Ningthoujam Lion Singh, Yuba Puruskar 2022 winner Laishram Lenin; 20th position holder Moirangthem Mukta singh and Shaikhom Subol who had been conferred with Guru Gulapi Gold Medallist -2022 by Jawaharlal Nehru Dance Academy, Manipur.
