A two-day workshop on writing Haikai literature organised by Books and Coffee, Yumnam Leikai, Imphal kick-started at its office premises on Saturday.

Dr Subir Ningthouja and Milan Rajkumar were the resource persons of the workshop.

Around 20 participants attended the workshop. The workshop highlighted the art and science of writing a Haikai literature originating from the Japanese literature of writing very short verses and poems and its various forms, including the  traditional and modern forms.
