The Thadou Students’ Association Sadar Hills extended relief materials for the internally displaced persons sheltered at Baptist High School, Motbung in Kangpokpi district on Tuesday.
Baptist English High School, Motbung is one of the relief camps set up in Saitu assembly constituency where there are more than 2,000 internally displaced persons sheltered since May 3.
TSA Sadar Hills president Paominlun Lhouvum said that the Thadou students association, Sadar hills is deeply disturbed by the unrest in Manipur as the sufferings of the people remain unabated.
“With support from Thadou diaspora, TSA SH team extended relief materials to our people to alleviate their sufferings and convey to our people that we will continue working for their cause and bear the pain they are facing,” he added.
