Irengbam Chaoren Memorial Trust will organise a state level essay competition at Ratankumar Memorial English School and Pitambara English School in Kwakeithel on October 20.
The trust will organise the competition for the first time in connection with the 67th birth anniversary of Irengbam Chaoren, stated a release on Sunday. It will be held on the theme 'Responsibility of the Indigenous Peoples to Preserve the Integrity of Manipur', it stated.
It mentioned that the competition will be conducted in two categories- Class 8 to 10 and Class 11 and above in English and Manipuri language. It also highlighted the Rules and Regulations of the competition.
It informed that application forms can be obtained from All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) at Kwakeithel Akham Leikai and Manipur Students' Federation at Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai. It urged the student bodies and different communities in the state to extend their support and make the event a success.
