An awareness and training programme on NIPUN Bharat (FLN) and Community Mobilization was organised by Samagra Shiksha under the ZEO of Pherzawl at DTC Hall in Churachandpur district on Friday.
During the awareness and training programme organised by Samagra Shiksha under the supervision of ZEO Pherzawl Hemchand Yumnam, a short video on NIPUN Bharat (FLN) was showcased.
Speaking on the occasion, Pherzawl DC Joseph Pauline Kamson said that the awareness and training programme was organised to aid the teachers to develop and hone helpful skills which would benefit the education system in the district.
He also mentioned that NIPUN Bharat is an initiative of the ministry of Education, government of India to provide foundational literacy and numeracy for every child in the country by 2026-27.
The programme was attended by the various stakeholders in the district including the heads of educational institutions and resource persons along with the district administration officials.
