A one-day training programme on plant protection and on-farm bio inputs preparation for Tazei Farmers Producer Company Ltd under Mission organic value chain development for Northeastern Region MOVCDNER) Phase III was held at Gaidimjang Young Association (GYA) office Gaidimjang Part 1 village under Khoupum subdivision, Noney district on Tuesday.
The programme was supported by the department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Manipur, Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA). It was organised by Diocesan Social Science Society (DSSS).
During the programme, SMS KVK Tupul, Tamenglong Sunanda Huidrom attended as resource person in presence of CEO Tazei FPC Jangdipou Alpha Dangmei. Sunanda Huidromp talked about the On-farm bio inputs preparation while field inspector DSSS Guangjuanliu Gonmei talked about plant protection.
Interaction hours with the farmers and lectures from resource persons were the main highlights of the programme.
More than 100 farmers took part in the programme. There are 10 clusters and 21 Farmers Interest Groups (FIGs) under Tazei Farmers Producer Ltd.
