The 30th foundation day of All Manipur Tammi Chingmi Nupi Lup (TAMMI-CHINGMI) was held at the Community Hall, Uripok Yambem Leikai Mamang Leirak on Friday.

Speaking at the function, TAMMI-CHINGMI president Yambem Momon Leima said that the organisation has been taking the forefront in various social issues that occurred in the state since the past 30 years. The organisation focuses on strengthening the age-old relationship between hill and valley. In coming years as well, it will work persistently for the cause of society, she said.

She also extended condolences on the death of its three active volunteers due to corona and said that their demise is a great loss to society. The association will follow their footsteps and accomplish their dreams of creating a good society.

She said that they would never give up in protecting the unity and integrity of the state. The society is facing various issues and collective efforts are much needed to address them. Therefore, the people should extend their support and cooperation in any kind of activities taken up by TAMMI-CHINGMI, she added.

President in-charge, Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup Lourem Nganbi and  president, All Manipur Women Association and Development Samaj (Nupi Samaj) Thokchom Ramani attended the occasion as presidium members.
