A reception programme for successful MPSC candidates of Thoubal district was held at the premises of the Fancier Higher Secondary School on Tuesday.
The event, including an interactive session, organised by the Fancier Educational Society under the sponsorship of Jovial Career Foundation Thoubal, was attended by seven of the nine candidates in the district, who had cracked MPSC Examination 2016.
The candidates who were felicitated included Tayenjam Clinton Singh (10th Rank), Mohammed Nazmul Huda Khan (17th Rank), Sorokhaibam Sitaranjit Singh( 33rd rank), Atom Biendro Singh( 38th rank), Sheikh Aslam Khan (40th rank), Md Hefajuddin (95th rank) and Arif Sajad ( 126th rank).
Lecturer, FHSS, B Surchandra Sharma expressed the hope that all the successful candidates from Thoubal district serve the people of the state with utmost dedication and will bring development in every field.
As a part of the event, Phuritsabam Sophiya Devi, a girl student who bagged gold medal in junior category at the recently concluded 14th National Kung Fu Championship, which was held at Lucknow, was also given a warm felicitation.
