The 9th State Level Aquarium Exhibition-cum-Flower Show, organised Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC) in association with local aquarists and floriculturists, will be held from 18-24 October at Manipur Science Aquarium DM University Campus, Imphal.
A release signed by MASTEC programme coordinator RK Pritamjit highlighted that the main objectives of the programme was to popularise aquarium and floriculture in the state, to conserve the indigenous fishes and plants of the state, to make aware of the available local fishes and plants to the public and to popularise Manipur Science Aquarium.
The release added that the exhibition of local and exotic fish and plant species, display of Bonsai plants, aquascaping competition and training workshop on Fabrication of Aquarium and its management will be the main activities of this 7-day long programme.
It further stated that the event will start on October 18, 2024 at 11 am at Manipur Science Aquarium, DM University Campus, Imphal.
