The Manipur Mixed Martial Art Association (MMMAA) in collaboration with the Nongsamei MMA and Fitness Centre on Friday announced a special MMA coaching camp from December 10 for recruitment in the Indian team.
The players and officials selected in the special will be qualified for participation in the upcoming 5th to Celebration Nai Khanomton Day (Muay Thai Day) at Thailand, MMMAA said in a release.
It stated that the festival which is scheduled from March 12 to 17, 2023 will be holding the 7th Amateur Muay Boran World Championships (WBMF); World Championships Pro-am Muaythai Tournament (WMO) and 16th World Wai Kru Muaythai Ceremony.
MMMAA also congratulated Chabungbam Premchandra Singh on being appointed as the coordinator of India for World Muay Thai Boran Federation (WMBF); World Muay Thai Organisation (WMO); and Kru Muay Thai Association (KMA) and also the Indian coordinator for the International and Thai Martial Arts Games and Festival by Grand Master Sirisompan (Gm Woody) on October 21.
