Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata Singh on Saturday extended greetings and well wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of India which falls on Monday.

In his message, Th Satyabrata Singh stated that the Indian Union is celebrating its 75th Independence Day on August 15 with the title of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. He added that the independence from the shackles of colonial power had taken India to a self-reliant nation.

The government of Manipur is no different in its effort to celebrate the grand day, he said. He also conveyed his message of progress and prosperity on the special occasion to the people of Manipur.
