Owing to its deteriorated condition, the 13.5 metre long, 10 metre wide Songkolei RCC Bridge along the Imphal-Dimapur road near Motbung Police Out-Post had been a cause of concern for loaded heavy duty truckers since April. After the matter was raised, the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) conducted an inspection, and the repairing of the bridge was carried out.
