Shri Shri Govindajee Net Sankritan, Palace Compound on Thursday distributed relief materials to the displaced people at the relief camp set up at the Government Dance College at Palace Compound, Imphal East.
The relief materials included essential items and clothes; the relief camp has been accommodating around 100 displaced people from villages including Serou, Moreh and Ekou, etc.
M Seityaban of Shri Shri Govindajee Nat Sankritan condemned the silence of PM Modi on the present crisis in the state which has been raging rampant for more than a month. He urged the government to take more effective measures to rehabilitate the displaced victims and facilitate their safe return to their homes.
He also urged the authorities concerned to take up concrete measures to resolve the present crisis and appealed to all to strive together to restore peace and normalcy in the state.
