Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd has become the first NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accredited medical college hospital in Northeast India and the second among the 13 states of Eastern India as on July 13, 2023.

NABH, a constituent board of the Quality Council of India (QCI), is the country’s highest accreditation authority for healthcare providers.

Shija Hospitals' quality journey started in 2006 with ISO 9001:2008 (International Organisation for Standardisation), NABH (Pre-Entry Level) in December 2016, and NABH (Full Accreditation) on July 13, 2023. Our clinical laboratory is also NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accredited hospital-based laboratory since 2015.
