The Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed against the brutal murder of Seigunlal Misao has decided to launch a peaceful sit-in protest from Friday, March 31, simultaneously in the entire district of Kangpokpi.
The decision came in the backdrop of the alleged failure of the government to nab the culprits within three days as assured by CM Biren Singh.

Speaking to the media, Kamchon Kipgen, a member of the JAC, said that CM Biren had assured to nab the culprits within three days but no arrest has been made even as the NRFM openly claimed responsibility for the murder.
