The Salai Apunba Nupi Lamjing Lup (SANULAL) on Friday called for joint efforts to fight the impending militant threats and attacks by all available means to save the state’s integrity, while urging the people to set aside personal and organisational differences for the time being.
SANULAL, in a release, said that the association has been standing alongside the village volunteers who are guarding their villages against indiscriminate attacks by Kuki militants. It mentioned that the members have been visiting places and providing necessary assistance and support to those on the frontline.
SANULAL visited Kadangband Part 2 and provided basic relief items to the village volunteers, it mentioned.
The association also paid a visit to Naranseina and Thamnapokpi villages on Thursday and distributed necessary relief materials to the weary villagers, it added and assured to continue providing help to those in need.
