Rs 410.68 crore sanctioned for widening work of Imphal to Jiribam road

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari announced that Rs 410.68 crore has been sanctioned for tho widening work to two-lane with paved shoulders of Imphal to Jiribam section of NH-37 near Khongsang and Puilon village (Pkg-5) on EPC mode.

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday announced that Rs 410.68 crore has been sanctioned for the widening work to two-lane with paved shoulders of Imphal to Jiribam section of NH-37.

"The Widening work to 2-Lane with paved shoulders of Imphal to Jiribam section of NH-37 near Khongsang and Puilon village (Pkg-5) on EPC mode has been sanctioned with a budget of Rs 410.68 crore In the state of Manipur," Gadkari tweeted.

Expressing his gratitude to the union minister, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh also wrote in a reply to Gadkari's tweet, "I’m thankful to Hon’ble Union Minister Shri @nitin_gadkari  Ji for his tireless effort in developing the road infrastructure in Manipur. These projects will definitely help in realising Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji’s vision of making NE States the growth engine of the country."
