Rongmei Naga Luh Phwam Manipur, Imphal Luangrian (RNLPM-IL) on Monday condemned the alleged inhumane eviction of Macheng Namthan and Pantilong village by the state authority on April 11.

A release by RNLPM-IL president Chingdinliu Panmei stated that with the increase in population, forest lands have been brought under human habitation by the continuous process of urbanisation. And the process of civilisation cannot be stopped by the one-sided action taken against the voiceless marginalised section of society, it continued.
