Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) on Friday informed that the World Hepatitis Day 2024 will be held at RIMS Hospital OPD complex on Sunday.

RIMS Medical Superintendent, Professor N Sanjib Singh, in a release, stated that a free screening of Hepatitis-B and Hepatitis-C cum consultation camp will be held at the Hospital, Imphal from 9 am to 11 am as part of the observance.

There will also be a free Titre measurement of Hepatitis B antibody for Health Care Workers, it mentioned. The event will be followed by celebration of World Hepatitis Day from 11 am to 12 noon in the General OPD area of RIMS Hospital, it added.
