The proscribed Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) on Friday extended its wishes to the people of the state on the arrival of Christmas and offered prayers for peaceful and harmonious coexistence among all communities of Manipur.  The Front’s deputy secretary, minority affairs Y Shyam, sending his Christmas message, raised concerns on the spread of new Covid variant Omicron and appealed to all to celebrate the occasion by following SOPs, RPF stated in a release signed by assistant secretary, publicity Bangkim. By taking a deeper understanding of why Lord Jesus Christ took birth in the world to guide mankind towards a righteous path with his divine messages, let all communities settling together in the state to exist harmoniously with love and respect for one another, it stated.
