A One Day Peace Dialogue focusing on the role of religious leaders was convened at the Diocesan Social Service Society Mini Conference Hall in Mantripukhri, Imphal (Manipur) on Monday.
The event was organised by the North East Diocesan Social Service Society (NEDSSS), Guwahati, in collaboration with the Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS), Mantripukhri, Imphal.
The programme, facilitated by Rev Fr Soni Thomas, joint director of DSSS, Imphal, saw the participation of thirty religious leaders from Ukhrul, Senapati, Chandel, Imphal East, Imphal West, and Bishnupur districts.
The participants collectively resolved to enhance coordination among themselves to foster peace and harmony in the state.
The dialogue concluded with a mass prayer, seeking peace for the state of Manipur.
