CCIAN Forum Peace Committee on Tuesday provided necessary relief materials to Yaibi Lennapham (Yaibilen) Children Home at Keibi Sanapat in Imphal East district.
Speaking on the sidelines, general secretary of CCIAN Forum Peace Committee, Takhellambam Robinson said that the forum carried out the activity to ease the plights facing the children's home in the wake of the conflict in the state.
He said that the forum has been lending support and assistance to the affected victims of the violence ever since May 15. He also thanked all the CCIAN forum members who have donated to the cause and further appealed to the public to extend their assistance to those in need.
Caretaker of Yaibilen Children Home Ningthoujam Tomba also expressed immense gratitude to CCIAN Forum Peace Committee for their invaluable help. The relief items provided include rice bags, groceries, pulses and bathing soaps etc.
